Senegal Site of JUMIA Will offer Repackaging Service on June 1st, 2022(2022/5/24)


With the vigorous development of JUMIA's overseas warehouse business, the overseas warehouse seller group continues to expand, and JUMIA's overseas warehouse service is also continuously optimized and improved. Now the platform has found that some products of some overseas warehouse sellers have not met the requirements of the platform for various reasons. Under normal circumstances, we will return this part of the product to the delivery agent or ask the seller to pick up the goods.

Now in order to reduce the losses of sellers, we take the lead in providing the repackaging service in the SN on June 1st, 2022 at 00:00 (local time), the details are as follows:

For the shipment that Vendors asked for inbounding, we will offer Jumia unified packaging service for the products which only have bad pack issues, and automatically charge a fee of 100 CAF/item, and the repackaged products will be inbounded to the original sku simple.

 

Applicable conditions: 

-If the damaged inventory of a single sku simple package is less than 100pcs, it will be automatically repackaged and charged automatically

-If the damaged inventory of a single sku simple package is higher than 100pcs, we will return this part of the product to the delivery agent or ask the seller to pick up the goods, or after seeking the seller's consent, perform repackaging and charging services.

Note:This clause is an additional service and does not conflict with the existing rules.
