Dear sellers, in this article, you can learn more about the adaptation period for new sellers.
The adaptation period for new sellers is a transition period that exists to assist you in adjusting to the operating rules of the Jumia platform.
During the adaptation period for new sellers, your DOL (Daily Order Limit) and PSOL (Pending to Shipped Order Limited) will be set to 5 and 10, respectively, to avoid you being unfamiliar with the operation of the platform and failing to process and ship the orders within the time limit, and to protect your store rating during the adaptation period.
When the number of orders reaches the upper limit, your store will be temporarily offline, and can be re-launched after 24 hours if the existing orders have been processed or successfully shipped.
DOL / PSOL
How to Increase DOL/PSOL
DOL (Daily Order Limited): The maximum order quantity that the store can receive within 24 hours.
PSOL (Pending to Shipped Order Limited): The upper limit of orders between the status of Pending to the status of shipped.
Note: The order states are divided into Pending (orders to be processed), Ready To Ship (in the process of sending the goods to the logistics warehouse designated by Jumia after printing the express bill), Shipped (the order has arrived at the designated warehouse and has been scanned), etc.
PSOL refers to the upper limit of orders in the two order states of Pending and Ready To Ship (that is, before Shipped).
When you have an order successfully shipped, the system will automatically increase the DOL/PSOL of your store to 10,000 within 7 working days.
